Goodbye Daphne

Sometimes our pets are only with us for a very short amount of time but in that time they will become our heart.

Daphne was a cat like that for our animal rescue friend Chrystal.  Daphne lived a short life but did indeed know the love of Chrystal and her family.  She blossomed from a scrawny cat with many health issues into a beauty.  Unfortunately her health issues were serious and she was debilitated from a tumor in her ear. Daphne was released from her suffering while cradled with love in her mom's arms.  Please do go by to offer your condolences to Chrystal at Daily Dose of Dogs.

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

It is so sad when they can't stay with us long. I am glad that Daphne knew love before she went to the Bridge.

Thank God she did know love and it breaks my heart that she is gone but I would never want her to hurt or suffer in any way. Tears here...she was a beautiful precious little girl.

Oh this reminded me of the time we had to put Sweepy's aging mom Pica to sleep (at 18 years old) and how his brother Bogart simply went to sleep forever without me shedding wild tears!

We can never really grasp the pain of anyone dying. Thank you for making it special with that quote.

Its time to visit Daphne's family if only I can stop my tears from blurring the keyboards. . .
