Mr. Kitty on Mancat Monday

Mr. Kitty snoopervising the snow

We are doing fine after a 16" snowstorm  last Friday and Saturday.  We didn't lose power which is good cuz our generator broke and the part they sent us didn't work.  Mom was so worried - we went 4 days without power in 2009 and she didn't want that to happen again.

Two Spot

All the older or special needs cats are inside the house but the white kitties have their own house a short walk from the back door.  Pop would go out to check on them every couple of hours.  The kitties were all inside the heated room snug in their banana box beds.

Our driveway on Sunday

Mom put bird feeders all over the place and would go out to feed them too.  It kept us busy watching  bird TV so we wouldn't get bored with the snow.  It was very cold and windy and the snow froze so the beans have not been able to get out yet - hope they can go on Tuesday.  We are getting low on cat food!

Callie and crow

Just a quick update on me - I am doing fine after my procedure to drain my lump but..the lump is back already altho not as big.  I may have to have surgery to cut it out but I really don't want that at my age (17).  Besides where will the fluids that are in the pocket of the lump go if they cut the lump out and where is this gunk coming from?  The beans will get more detailed info on this before they put me thru surgery.  Will keep you posted.

That snow sure looks pretty -- from inside the house! I love that the outdoor kitties have a heated house.

I am sending you lots of purrs, Mr. Kitty! At least it sounds like the snow wasn't too bad in your area.

We're glad you all came through the storm just fine and didn't lose power. Paws crossed your bipeds get out soon to restock the kitty pantry! As for your lump...we'll be interested to see what the vet says about the fluid coming back. Surgery at 17 doesn't sound so good to us, either. Purrs.

Your driveway made the woman want to go skiing down it! Glad you are all well. Our snow is mostly melted now, although there is still no school today--they say that in some places the roads are not clear, but here they are completely dry.

We are glad you all stayed safe and warm during the storm! We hope your humans can go out soon to get more kitty food for you.

Thank goodness you power did not go off and everyone is warm and toasty. Wake Co reported the most outages in the state! We had sleet and ice and a dusting of snow. That sure is a pretty pic down your driveway.
Warm Hugs madi and mom

Mr. Kitty, I am sure whatever they decide is best for you will be good! It's weird to be in Michigan, but having above freezing temps while a bunch of people got the mighty snowstorm. Hoping the power stays on, and that the Bird TV remains entertaining.

That's a lot of snow, Mr. Kitty! We're glad you guys didn't lose power. We're sorry your lump is coming back. We hope the vet can explain why this is happening. As far as surgery at 17, if you're relatively healthy, it may be worth exploring. They take lots of precautions now for older kitties.
